MY

THERAPY

STYLE

When seeking a therapist, it is important to find someone with whom you feel a sense of comfort and ease.  As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I am a client-centered clinician focusing on the whole person.

The best way to describe my practice style is integrative. I utilize my training in a variety of proven treatment modalities; however, my primary treatment modalities are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.

I view therapy as a collaborative process in which therapist and client work in search of greater self-understanding and self-acceptance.  My clients have entrusted me with their journey in navigating difficult life circumstances by developing healthier coping skills leading to feeling more resilient and a more fulfilled life.

In our initial visit, we will establish rapport, gather your current biographical data as well as historical information to address your presenting concerns, and discuss your therapeutic goals.  I believe in the importance of meeting the goals you identify.

MY

SERVICES

"More than just a listening ear, I’m here to help you discover a new perspective, identifying the source of the challenges you’re facing, and equip you with both the skills and resources you need."

I am able to provide both short-term therapy such as solution-focused treatment, crisis counseling or coaching as well as long-term psychotherapy that consists of weekly standing appointments to address longstanding behavior patterns, dynamics, conflicts and obstacles that interfere with leading a vital and fulfilling life.  An in-person consultation is the best way to determine what type of therapy would work best for your individual concerns.

More than just a listening ear, I’m here to help you discover a new perspective, identifying the source of the challenges you’re facing, and equip you with both the skills and resources you need. Beyond developing a healthier mind, we’ll assess your overall well-being, including physical and emotional wellness. Together, we can work towards a healthier, happier you.
